Ms. Emily turned 11 months old this week and she certainly left 10 months in a fury. A return trip to LA on Sunday night from Oakland was particularly hellish after being delayed 2 hours and being alone with the little one (Josh was on the road and everyone else was on a different flight). Couple that with the fact that Emily was beginning to get sick and I managed to get sick as well Sunday night, and well, it wasn't a pretty picture. Tears were had by all, but in the end, we both survived the night and the week until Josh got home.

So, only about 3 weeks left until Cheeks turns 1. It's hard to believe. Not sure what we're going to do about her birthday party. It's scheduled for the 18th of October, but if the Dodgers are in the playoffs, we may move it. More to come on that.
